Pink Shirt Day

Tomorrow we will recognize “Support Anti-bullying Day” at St. Clements School when we will wear pink shirts.

From its humble beginnings in 2007 in small-town Nova Scotia, Pink Shirt Day has spread across the globe as a way to take a stand against bullying and to show support for those who have been affected by it in schools, workplaces, homes, and online.  Last year alone, people in almost 180 countries shared their support of Pink Shirt Day through social media posts and donations.

On February 24, 2021, we encourage everyone at the Waterloo Catholic District School Board to practice kindness and wear pink to school or work to symbolize that you do not tolerate bullying.
