Terry Fox Marathon of Hope – September 22

St. Clement Terry Fox School Run

On September 22nd our school will be proudly participating in the Terry Fox School Run. This is one of our most favourite events of the year – we get to celebrate the life of Terry Fox, his Marathon of Hope, and show our incredible school spirit as we come together to help others.

Our event this year is an opportunity to take action, show leadership, and set examples of compassion and kindness towards others. Students will be staying on school grounds and each class will have an opportunity to participate remaining in their division (Kindergarten- Grade 3 and Grade 4- Grade 8). Each student will receive a freezie treat after their run/ walk. Please contact your child’s teacher if you have an issue or concern with this. Please send your child to school prepared with running shoes, a water bottle and a red/ white outfit to show support for our Canadian hero!

Please consider supporting us in our mission, and help us raise funds for cancer research. You can make an online contribution through the St. Clement school page at

https://schools.terryfox.ca/38139

Every donation made in a student’s name will be entered into a draw to win this awesome Terry Fox t-shirt on Friday September 22nd!

Thank you for your support on behalf of the staff at St. Clement School.
