Weekly Prayer for Catholic Education
We are many, we are one; we all form one body in Christ.
Lord, when we see the one before us, let us reverence your presence within;
when we listen to one another, let us hear with our hearts;
when we reflect on each encounter, may we discern to understand;
when we learn from those around us, let us respect our differences with joy;
and when we act, may we be kind and generous to all,
for each person is a member of your body, with all that they are.
We are many, we are one. Amen.
Information Items:
- Thank you to the 395 people who have signed up for the BBQ. It will run rain or shine.
- If it is raining please split your time between the gym, ESQ Cube and the library. The folk dancers will be performing in the gym at 5 pm. BBQ tickets will be distributed to one student from each family on Tuesday. Please bring a reusable water bottle, as we work to eliminate single-use plastic bottles.
- Due to staffing shortages. There will be no Junior/Intermediate Music until further notice.
Parent Action Items:
- Yearbooks are available for sale on Cash online. The last day for sales will be May 12. Please encourage your child to submit a design for the cover contest.
- Mission Day planning is well underway. There is an all-inclusive pass available on Cash Online. The suggested donation is $10 per child. The first class to have all of the passes purchased will win a pizza party! We will be accepting donations until May 5th at 11:59 pm.
- Each class is making a raffle basket. Every child will be given one raffle ticket. Additional tickers are for sale through Cash Online until Wednesday, May 3 at 11:59 pm
