All Saints families with the exception of Grade 8 Grads will receive their yearbook in September.
Here we are at our “official” last day of school for the 2019-20 school year! What a year 2020 has been. We have been living history and we couldn’t be more proud of our Saints family – our staff, students, and school families – for your efforts for a strong finish!
Continued prayers for a September start up of safe – in person – connectedness. Please watch for newswire messages later in the summer as information about school start up becomes available.
We would like to sincerely wish all of our Saints families a safe summer filled with fun family memories, even in these continued unique times…memories where we eat more family dinners, stare at the night stars, watch more sunsets, go barefoot more often, and laugh together…
Sincere, thanks to all parents for sharing your precious gift with us…your child(ren).
Missing you Saints!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Dafoe
We have been grounded in our faith, in our hope and in our love for our work, our students and each other. I give thanks for that and hope that you do too. It is clear that at Waterloo Catholic the words “Heart of the Community, Success for Each and A Place for All” are a lived reality. May Christ’s grace and love embrace you as you enjoy the gentler days of the season ahead. Be assured of our appreciation for your role in our many blessings.

Many of our parents want to become more engaged in their school community and we’d like to take the opportunity to mention CSAC opportunities coming up in the fall.
The CSAC application is now centralized and easier for parents to complete.
Why not consider taking on a leadership role at our school in the fall.
The Catholic Parent Involvement Committee is recruiting parent members. Parents must have a child in the St. Clement elementary school. For details, see the CPIC website (https://www.wcdsb.ca/our-schools/catholic-parent-involvement-committee/) or email Lisa.Legault@wcdsb.ca for an application. Applications will be accepted until September 30, 2020.”
Good Afternoon Saints! |
I hope that each of you had a good Father’s Day Weekend. On Friday there were two important announcements from the Minister of Education. One of them was related to the province’s plan for re-opening schools. We wish to survey parents to start to get a sense of their plans for the fall, should schools re-open. |
To that end, there are two letters attached – one from the Minister of Education and one from the Director of the WCDSB. Please find some time today to read the letters and complete a survey using this link: School Re-Opening Survey June 2020 |
The survey will remain open until June 30th. Please complete the survey by then. Only one survey to be completed per family. There are some translations available of the survey – accessible through the top right of the page when you open the survey. |
