A Message From Lunch Box Orders

With this week’s announcement confirming the school closures for the balance of the school year, we [Lunchbox Orders] wanted to reach out to touch on next steps. This week, we will finalize the cancellations for the deliveries and orders placed for June 1 onwards. In cancelling the orders, parents will be notified and a credit will be placed on their Lunchbox Orders account.  Credits will carry over automatically to the new school year and do not expire. If a parent prefers a refund, they may contact us directly by email at info@lunchboxorders.com to complete the return of funds to their payment card.  Lunchbox Orders does not save payment card information for security purposes.  A refund transaction fee (4%) is applicable. The fee represents credit card and bank charges associated with the transaction.

Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or requests.

Thank you for your continued support.”

We Need Your Help

We are in desperate need of a volunteer for our Nutrition For Learning Program for the 2020-2021 school year. This position involves being responsible for the day-to-day operations and supervision of the Student Nutrition Program. Responsibilities include; creating menus, develop a program budget to monitor the cost of the menu items, placing a weekly food order, sorting the order in bins for each classroom.. The estimated time commitment would be 5 – 10 hours a week. This is such a valuable program that directly benefits students but we are unable to have the program without a volunteer.  If you are considering this, kindly contact andrea.dafoe@wcdsb.ca or kayla.moura@wcdsb.ca.

St. Clement Update

Hello Saints families,

We learned today that schools will remain closed for the remainder of this school year. The official announcement can be found below. With today’s announcement, we are sure you will have questions about many things such as Grade 8 graduation, final report cards, the process for picking up your child’s personal belongings and returning school items such as textbooks, library books, etc. Throughout this closure period, all WCDSB schools are taking direction from the Ministry, Public Health and our Board. As we receive recommendations for year-end procedures, our staff will work together to put plans in place and we will continue to keep all families informed via NewsWire.

In the meantime, we still have six weeks of distance learning left in this school year so we are not winding down just yet! We are proud of all of our students for doing their best during this challenging time. Please continue to emphasize with your children the importance of persisting with their learning over these next six weeks. Together, we’ve got this, Saints!

Kindergarten Registration is STILL Open!!

Several years ago, we established a very easy-to-use online pre-registration portal to make the registration process as convenient as possible.

Parents of children scheduled to begin JK in September 2020, are encouraged to complete the pre-registration process as soon as possible.

There will still need to be some in-person contact with the school, but that will be handled at an appropriate time after the COVID-19 crisis has passed.

For non-Catholic families wishing to register in a WCDSB elementary school, your school Principal will reach out to you to complete the required interview process – again – at an appropriate time in in the most appropriate manner, including via phone.

Please CLICK HERE for all the information you need to start the registration process!
