ECO WEEK Explained

Light’s off Lunches: Simply open the blinds and turn off your classroom lights while your students eat lunch – a simple way to reduce our energy consumption.

Litter-less Lunch: Let’s try to reduce our waste by using reusable bottles and containers rather than using single use plastic or disposable packaging. This will help to reduce the energy required to create and recycle disposable containers and reduces the amount of waste put into our landfill by mistake.

Eco Catch-a-Kid: Catch the students doing something “green”. Give them an Eco catch-a-kid to place in the appropriate brown bag (separated by division) at the top of the stairs. Draw on Friday, April 26th.
