St. Clement Library is having a Scholastic Book Fair!

Scholastic Book Fair at St. Clements 2018

The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to our school!  What better way to promote reading to our students than by supporting this important literary event. For every $10.00 spent at the Fair, up to $5.00 goes back to our school Library.  There are so many interesting items to choose from!

Our annual Scholastic Book Fair will be held:

Friday, November 2 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Wednesday, November 7 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Thursday, November 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 5.00 to 7.30p.m.

Friday, November 9 from 9.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.

Wednesday, November 14 from 9:00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.

  • Wednesday Oct 31– Hot Lunch Day – Lunch Lady! Happy Halloween – Our community will continue with past practice of celebrating Halloween by wearing costumes to school. Please remind your child that costumes may not include masks, scary make-up or weapons. We want to celebrate and be safe without scaring our younger students. If your child does not have a costume – wearing orange or black would celebrate the day too.
  • Thursday Nov. 1 – Interview Forms due back to the classroom teacher
  • In keeping with tradition at St. Clements, we will be completing a Book of Life for All Souls Day (Nov. 2). The information and sheets will go home with youngest and only on Monday, please return completed Book of Life forms to the classroom teacher. For the month of November – names will be announced over the PA day as a remembrance.

  • Monday, October 22nd – Friday was Mrs. Dunn’s last day at St. Clement She will be on a maternity leave. We wish her all the best on her new role as a mom. In her place, we welcome Mr. Mikhail who will begin at St. Clement on Monday.

St. Clement CES Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences

A Communication of Learning – Initial Observations for JK/K students and Progress Reports for students in Grades 1 to 8 will be distributed on Tuesday, November 6th. Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences will be held at St. Clement CES from 3:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 8th. A form regarding interview times will be sent home this Wednesday. Please indicate on the form your preferred time for interviews and send it back to school.  For JK to Grade 3 students, parents should book an interview with the classroom teacher and with the planning time teacher, if interested. For Grade 4 to 8 students, parents should only book an interview with the classroom teacher and the French teacher, if interested. You will receive confirmation of your interview time in your child’s report card.We look forward to seeing all families of our JK to Grade 8 students on Thursday, November 8th!

  • If you have board games that you are no longer using consider donating them to St. Clement school. We are in need of board games for inclement weather recess times. Please send any donated games to the office. Many thanks for considering.

Upcoming Woolwich Counselling Children’s Groups and Parenting Workshop
