Safety Assembly

Students attended an assembly on Friday afternoon reviewing safety procedures for our school.  In consultation with staff, we reviewed safety in the hallways, classrooms and in the yard.

11th Annual Diocesan Mass, Holy Cross Church, Georgetown

In Celebration of Catholic Education, the 11th Annual Diocesan Mass  will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Holy Cross Church in Georgetown. The gathering will begin at 3:15 PM with a Theatrical Celebration of Catholic Education in the Hamilton Diocese at Holy Cross Church. Followed by a Eucharistic Celebration at 4:30 PM and a reception in the parish hall at 5:30 PM. All are welcome.

St. Clement Open House/ Meet the Teacher Night

September 25th  will be St. Clement Catholic Elementary School Open house.

It will be held from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM.

Pizza and a beverage will be provided by our Parent Council; donations welcomed.

St. Clement Harvest Dance-A-Thon Fundraiser

This year, Parent Council will be hosting a Harvest Dance-A-Thon as our fundraiser for this year. The Dance-A-Thon will be held on Oct. 12th. Anyone within our community that could donate time (we are looking for a DJ) or fall decor, kindly contact the office.

Nutrition For Learning

St. Clement Catholic Elementary School feeds approximately 210 students 2 days a week from September to June. Our student nutrition program would not be able to run without the efforts of all our great volunteers and from the support of the school community.

St. Clement Catholic Elementary School needs your support to ensure that the Nutrition for Learning program is available for our students.

Bus Route 218

This is a message is from Student Transportation Services of Waterloo region for all families with children on Bus Route 218 :

“A two day closure along Manser Rd may cause a slight delay with the arrival of Rte 218.

During Tuesday & Wednesday, 11 & 12 Sep, the southern portion of Manser Rd will be closed causing Rte 218 to divert down Lichty Rd.”

St Clement Reminders September 10- 14, 2018

It has been a smooth start-up to the 2018-2019 school year with lots of smiles and enthusiasm for the new year.

On Tuesday, we will be honouring Terry Fox in our Terry Fox Run/Walk. Please ensure your child wears sunscreen and brings water to stay hydrated. Continue to send in your toonies for this amazing cause.

As well on Tuesday, our School Council will have the first meeting of the 2018-2019 school year on Tuesday at 6:30. You are encouraged to come out and join us! All are welcome!

Also a reminder that the school will be open on Wed. Sept. 12th – if your child is going to be absent, kindly follow normal protocol and call the office and inform us
