Pink Shirt Day – Wednesday, February 28th, 2024.

We continue to promote diversity and inclusion at St Clement CES. The mission of Pink Shirt Day is to create a more kind, inclusive world by raising awareness for anti-bullying initiatives.  Today our diversity is becoming more visible than ever as people continue to embrace their cultures, identities, and true selves in more open and direct ways. The 2024 slogan “ALL KINDS OF KINDESS” aims to spotlight that all forms of kindness contribute to building an inclusive and connected community.

Let’s have greater acceptance, respect, and inclusion for everyone!

Show your support by wearing PINK!

Thought for the Week:“The time is always right to do what is right.” Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr

Prayer:

God, Our Father, loving and merciful, bring together and keep all families in perfect unity of love and mutual support.

Instil in each member the spirit of understanding and affection for each other.

Keep quarrels and bitterness far from them, and for their occasional failures instil forgiveness and peace.

May the mutual love and affection of parents set a good example.

Instil in children self-respect so that they may respect others and grow in mature independence.

May the mutual affection and respect of families be a sign of Christian life here and hereafter, through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. Amen.
