Lord: In the midst of Winter, when the days are cold and wind can pierce remind us of the warmth of your love. In the midst of Winter, when days are short, dawn comes late, and dusk arrives early reminding us that in the darkness your light still shines.

Please ask your child about the Feast of St Clement liturgy of the word. It was awesome to be able to share our faith as a school community. We are so lucky to be part of our Catholic system.

It was wonderful to see so many of you at the progress report Interviews. We are committed to developing communication between the school and parents.

We would like to remind you not to park where there are no parking signs including on the blacktop. Parking should be in the parking lot or where designated on Lobsinger Line. The blacktop is not for car parking. It is not maintained for that purpose. We are very concerned about the safety of our students and staff.

Did you know that WCDSB has various career opportunities? There are supply opportunities like lunch hour supervisors, supply administrative assistant positions, and more. Be sure to check out https://www.wcdsb.ca/careers/  for job opportunities and how to apply.

Grades 4, 5 & 6 will be traveling to St Davids to see Celtics on Broadway. They will be eating their lunch when they return at 1 pm. We will ensure that they are offered a snack before we leave St Clement in the morning. Please know that for students not attending there will be no intermediate or junior teachers available to supervise.

Grades 7 & 8 reminders for the field trip on December 1st. All of the Grade 7 & 8 staff will be on the field trip. Please know that there will be junior or intermediate teachers at the school to supervise. Please do not bring backpacks, purses, or bags. The only thing you need is a bring a bagged lunch. We will provide a snack for the afternoon and bottles of water. Additional food is available for purchase, but only credit or debit are accepted. We are leaving at 8:50 am and expected back at 6 pm.  An email will be sent with more specific details prior to the trip.

We understand that many people face various stressors. As a school, with our community partners, we may be able to lend a hand when families are in need. Please reach out to Mrs MacDonald if this may apply to you. This could be to help with payment for a  field trip, groceries, Christmas etc. We are a people of hope and understanding.

May we be willing to walk in someone else’s shoes.  Let us be open to difference and understanding. Let us work with others of goodwill, finding solutions together. Lord, give us the courage to trust in your hand guiding us. Give us the courage to respond like the Good Samaritan. May we know and see your love present in our communities, made real in the ways we love one another.  Amen
